Hi,
Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed playing the Friday night acoustic night in April. Probably the most welcome we have ever been made to feel. We're looking forward to the return gig at the end of June.

Sooty and all at the Patriot,
Well what can I say, we waited for yonks to get the gig and when we finally did it was well worth it. A big thanks first for the awsome welcome from all at the Patriot, the crowd who were top and the place which is just a proper venue, great for bands.
Great to have a place run by people who love good music and frequented by a well up for it and rocking crowd, we had a great night.
Cannot wait for the return date so we'll see you soon.
Cheers, |

Thanks again for another great welcome when I dropped in at the pub with my miss's. She was impressed,it looked like you had half a infantry regiment in the bar. Respect, Jan NCC Devonshire. |

We are not bikers but we love the pub! We only get chance to visit every few months or so..
The patriot games was an awesome day out. We really enjoyed the blues duo Mike Markey and Nick Jones, and the ozzy tribute band was the icing on the cake. To be honest i can't remember much more about it!!! ;-) A well organised brilliant day out.
Many thanks |

Hi, Came to The Patriot for the first time a few weeks ago. I've been living in Newport and The Hornblower has been my regular drinking hole for the past 15 years now but i've recently moved further up the valley with my girlfriend (alright MistyMay? I know you're reading this ;-)) so thought I'd give The Patriot a go. What can I say about it? LOVE the place. Jack Daniels and draught Budweiser, NICE! The idea of using a PC which plays MP3's instead of a jukebox is great, HUGE selection of music on that! The atmosphere and people were friendly (which makes a change from Newport which seems to be crowded with kids fighting with me always caught in the crossfire) and the band I saw that night, Hookah were excellent and hope they come back. Anyway, hope to make The Patriot a regular place to visit from now on so, see you this saturday. Cheers. |

Can I firstly apologise for the previous posting
by pjedwards otherwise known as "SED". He has no grasp of the
english language, plays a pink bass and is the only gay in the
village. Well the band is actually called Simply and we will be back to rock Crumlin and the Patriot on the 26th March. Thanks to one and all for a great welcome whenever we play there and by the way, Russ - thanks for the loan of your hat it certainly helped cover my inadequate beard for the ZZ Top track. See you all soon and keep up the good support of up and coming local talent and even idiots like us that have been knocking around for years. PATRIOT - YOU ROCK!! CK |
