I served 5 years in the RN and then 2 in the Avon & Somerset Constabulary. I returned to my birth country the USA and continued my Police career in Reno, NV and then went into the Army where I was injured in the Gulf War One or GW1 as we call it. I am now a 100% disabled Veteran and I ride a 1967 VW Trike that I spent 2 1/2 years restoring. I ride with the POW/MIA Veterans MCC. Your club and goals are commendable and it was a pleasure touring your site. If you are ever in Washington State in the good old USA then contact me and you have a place to stay. I own 5 acres up in the mountains and the weather is exactly like the UK. In Brotherhood and Rememberance for all Vets.

A belated thank you to those of your members who attended the Falklands 25 event in London. I had a brief word with one member & was able to thank him for attending. As a biker myself, it meant a lot (never got his name - tallish slim guy with a pony tail - thanks again). It was quite an emotional day, and it did mess my head up. I never had any problems with that in the preceding 25 years, but since London it's hit me hard.
Ride on and ride free guys, that camaraderie is worth it's weight in gold and something I sadly, badly miss since leaving the RN 20 years ago.

Heard about the club from the recent media coverage of how the MOD treat our injured lads and girls with no respect. I've been to the US with the 'mob' and seen how their guys are well looked after.

I also saw the 'Power to the People' documentary and was quite frankly disgusted by the former Service Peoples' treatment. Unfortunately we currently reside under a political system that has more time for our enemies than it does for its own people.
The episode wear the injured squaddie was asked to remove his uniform in case he offended certain sections of the population about summed it up.

regular visitor to your site, saw "the battle of Trafalgar" on beeb2. served 16 yrs in RRF,what a fantastic way to highlight the problems of injured ex servicemen and women who've been abandoned by politicions over the years.I hope this raises awareness to the general public of what our brothers in arms have had to put up with over the years and what gutless bastard politicians we have running the country that we have all served and what some have paid the ultimate price for.
I hope this programme has also highlighted the PATRIOTS MC UK , respects to all in welsh wales

I recieved far better treatment in the three BMH's i was treated in than ANY national health Hospital period.

Hi Saw The Patriots MC mentioned on BBC one last night. A program about British forces Vetrans being forgotten by the MOD. As a former marine myself I was both ashamed and disgusted. I served in the Marine corps in another country a long time ago and was horrified that in this day and age men who gave everything for Queen and country and wound up with horrific injuries and mental health problems can be ignored by the very people they fought to protect. I am a member of the National Association for Bikers with a disability and would like to steer your members with disabilities that preclude them from riding as bike or trike to the website www.nabd.org. It has advice on adapting bikes or trikes for user by riders with various disabilities. There is also a grant system to help with adapting bikes or trikes. If any of your members are in need of advice about the possibility of riding independantly again please feel free to pass them my email adress or my mobile number 07973 711 937 and i'll do my best to make sure your members get the advice and help they need to get back on the road.

Patriots Saw the TV programme last night 'Power to the People' Brilliant! Well done. I believe that all HM servicemen and women from UK or her dependancies deserve a decent pension and healthcare that allows them to live in dignity that is befitting someone who has signed up and may have to make the ultimate sacrifice. If you wish, I shall write to my local MP, protesting at the closure of your special hospital,it is the least I can do.
I liked the programme(even though it had Long Mick in it!!), the bikes looked great and was definately a worthwhile cause. All the very best gents.

Excellent site guys. I found the site after watching 'Battle of Trafalgar Square' last night ... excellent statement by Denzil & the boys! I was Royal Engineer for 24 years & left in 2000 (met Denzil in FI when I was Q Mines). Left without a scratch & then went clearing landmines/UXO in Kosovo & Lebanon. Donated my left leg to the cause in Lebanon in 2002 and now work for Handicap International in Belgium.
Just bought a trike which my brother is going to fix up & do the adaption so hope to be 'triking' in the summer!

Saw the program on TV last night featuring your club. As a citizen of this country,a patriot and a freedom loving biker. I was disgusted with the treatment of ex service personnel. I DID NOT KNOW! Mabye that's my fault. You expect the people in charge to do the right thing. to my small circle of friends I will point out the problem. Best of luck getting the message out. Ride Fast,
